Dean Smith, President and Founder

Dean Smith is the President and Founder of Intelivote Systems Inc. With over 20+ years of election experience, Dean is considered an international expert and one of Canada’s leading authorities on the subject of electronic voting and the application of eVoting technologies within the elections market.  He is well versed in all aspects of eVoting including the successful implementation of the technology, the many perspectives on voter participation, technology security, procedural and legal issues, and the economic and carbon impact that often accompany the eVoting discussion.

Dean has been an active professional in the ICT industry in Canada for over 45 years and over that time has held senior-level management positions at SHL/MCI Systemhouse, EDS Innovations, Bell Aliant and Xwave.
